Tamashii Nations, Bandai's premier collector's brand, introduces the "Robot Spirits EVA-01 Test Type, Night Combat Version." as it appeared under the evening glow in the 2009 animated feature film Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. EVA-01 stands 16cm tall and features interchangeable head and hands, an umbilical cable, vivid colors, and is made from composite resin materials for maximum detail and durability. This is the first time Bandai has offered an exclusive Evangelion figure for the San Diego Comic-Con. Only 600 figures were produced.
