A Kryptonian AI superweapon, the Eradicator eliminated contaminating alien influences. On Earth, it built the Fortress of Solitude before trying to convert the planet into New Krypton. It took Supermans form after Doomsday killed him and, on his resurrection, melded with S.T.A.R. Labs scientist David Connor. After Flashpoint, an Eradicator program constructed Supergirls Sanctuary of Solitude before determining Power Girl was Supergirls clone and attacking her. A new Eradicator emerged following Rebirth: one of an army of police robots designed by General Zod. This unit observed Kryptons destruction and reprogrammed itself to preserve the lost civilizationincluding Kryptonian souls. After joining Hank Henshaws Superman Revenge Squad, the Eradicator served Zods family.
